Buy.O and Beijing Wuzi University have decided to
establish a strategic cooperation aimed at supporting
the procurement function development in China.
Founded in 1980, the 12 000 students Beijing Wuzi
University is the first university to have developed
a logistics specialty in China.
The partnership between Buy.O and Beijing Wuzi has
led to the creation of the first Procurement Research
Center in China fully dedicated to procurement skills
development and procurement consulting. In addition,
Beijing Wuzi plans to open the first procurement bachelor
degree education program.
Buy.O strongly contributes to the program, bringing
its unique procurement & supply chain skills and
methodologies as well as its worldwide consulting
expertise.
Both public and private institutions will find in
the Buy.O Procurement Research Center a unique set
of expertise. It will support the development of a
professional and efficient procurement function adapted
to the Chinese market.
Through the partnership, Beijing Wuzi University is
in a position to offer a unique expertise in procurement
in China.
In the meantime, Mr Yue WU, President of Beijing Wuzi
Logistics School has been appointed member of the
Buy. O Advisory Council.
