After more than 20 years in business procurement positions you now move into consultancy. WHY?
Firstly, I belief that my 20+ years in procurement leadership roles at different companies and across several industries has helped me to develop a clear view on the roles and added values that procurement consulting services can have for an organization. And belief me, I have seen both the good and bad versions! Moving into consultancy now myself with my background in procurement leadership roles will enable me to get well connected with CPO’s and provides me the opportunity to deliver consulting services that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Furthermore this step is also driven by a strong personal desire to continuously develop my talents, as well as to gain new skills and competences. I will enjoy new experiences as well as being intellectually challenged. Running a consultancy business with P&L responsibility, while building upon my two decades in procurement, satisfies all these needs and creates a lot of excitement, drive and energy with me.
